For the Bathroom

One thing that is certainly true about college bathrooms is that they are a "different" experience... They're almost always commual, whether they be coed or unisex, or for the whole floor or just your minisuite. Few people have trouble adjusting, but there are some things you will need along the transition.

Shower Bag

Especialy if you have a long walk down the hall to your bathroom, and your bathroom doesn't have lockers, you'll want a bag to make carrying everything easier. Pick one out that can get wet... that's kinda the point. You might want to buy one in person, but if you want one from online, check this out:

Case

Especially if you have a lot of toiletries (like, say, makeup) you should invest in some sort of case. Pick one out that's the right size for what you have, and offers the functionality you want.

Shower Shoes

Ok, so maybe not the fashion statement you want to make, but think about it... you're sharing showers with something like 50 people. Most people bring them, they're important for your hygeine.

  • Asthetics, style, waterproof, maybe a little functionality... there's a lot to consider here. Make the call. You can always just bring flip flops too... (that said, don't bring something that can't sit for a while while still wet.)
  • Check out Old Navy. they have a deal: 1 pair for 2 bucks or 2 for 3. Can't go wrong with that.
